Power transistor(and other power devices) must dissipate a large amount of internally generated heat. For BJT ppwer transistors, the collector terminal is the critical junction; for this reason, the transistor's case is alwasy connected to to the collector terminal. The case of all power transistors is designed to provide a large contact area between it and an external heat sink. Heat from the transistor flows through the the case to the heat sink and then dissipates in the surrounding air. Heat sinks vary in size, number of fins, and type of material. Their size depends on thhhhe heat dissipation requirement and the maximum ambient temperature in which the transistor is to operate. In high-power applications (a few hundred watts), a cooling may be necessary.(p.428)

#9 Japanese Efforts to overcome difficulties for using in English
English is the most general language for the internation language. All the world deny that fact. Japan realized needs of studying English, belatedly. So they have a plan to use official language in English. Because they want to promote globalization. And then they are planning to extend its business abroad. The major companies of Japan have also policy to use office language in English.
But their English pronunciation is extremely terrible. Most of Japanese can't communicate with native-English speaker. If they'd like to use Englifh for only economic purposes, they wouldn't be necessary. Their business has been already thriving. They don't need to invest in English. Do you know that Japanese use the third English? They have their own English. But native-English speakers can't understand their saying. It doesn't look like both Japanese and an Enlgish. It means they create another language. Even though they feel about necessary of using English, they wouldn't use properly.

#6 A memory in the festival
Two weeks ago, I went to the city hall for enjoying the Korean-Japanese festival. It started from 2005 and was held for the sixth time in Seoul. Many of Korean and Japanese joined the festival. Besides, some of foreigners attended it, too. I think it was a global event. I was very excited.
First, I participated in the many eating competition of 'Wanco Soba". 'Wanco Soba" looked like buckwheat noodles. The rule was eating much for one minutes. But I didn't make it in the preliminaries. After the competition end, I had recieved a prize for participation. That was curry powder. I was so glad that I really like the curry with various kinds of seafood.
Next, I had an opportunity to experience the Japanese traditional games. The 'kendama' looks like a hammer with a ball connected by a string. How to play is just impaling a ball on the spike. It's only using one hand. It looks easy, but it's difficult for me.
Another was 'darumaotoshi'. It means falling 'Dhalma'. It consists of some colored pieces. I must hit the pieces from bottom to the top by using a small hammer. The game was like hammering a nail. It was something different experience.
Above those, I really enjoyed many things. I felt enjoyable. I had an worderful memory through this festival. This festival will be remembered a long time. If it's held next year, I would visit this place.

#5 A Robbery Case
When I was 20 years old, I worked a part-time job. The company that I worked was very good. Because I could work after school at night as a office assistant. In addition, the wage was higher than the same line of work. So I worked this area for a long time. During the summer vacation, I used to go work at 9am. The 3rd day of the summer vacation, I found the company's door had been smashed. It seemed that somebody kicked the door or broke the door with a hammer. The door opened and I could come into the office easily. My boss came in a few minutes and he reported a burglary to the police. Fortunately, the lost thing is just only one. It was the main computer. The price was about 2,000,000won. I was very frightened by the theft. My boss bought the better main computer.2010년 9월 27일 월요일

Actually, I wanted to watch the tuna auction. But I'm afraid I couldn't see that. Because I arrived late. People riding something seemed so busy. So I was busy avoiding something like motors. The motors were so numerous, speedy. I want to warn people going to there to be careful. The motors were really really fast. I was so scared!
And I went to the japanese seafood restaurant. The name was "daiwasushi". Despite early moring, the line was long. After waiting for 1 hour, I could enter into this place. When I came inside, the waiter welcomed me with saying "iratshaimese". And she gave a warm grean tea to me and took an order. I ordered set menu. The price was 3500 yen. It was a litte expensive but it's worth at that price.
The sushi chef created sushi in front of me and gave to me and I ate it. He continued to creating sushi and giving to me one by one for a period of time. Whenever he gives sushi to me, he explained about what it is. The visitor next to me realized I'm korean and said "annyeonghaseyo" to me.
The sushi was smooth, a litte spicy. Especially, The 'Uni'of sushi smelled weet and tasted the saltiness. I was impressed by this tasty.
The weather was warmer than Korea. Korea was still cold but it was already spring in Japan. I felt so good to breathe a fresh air. And there were some places full of bicycles. I could easily see those places.
Now I miss this place. Whenever it comes to mind, I often see the pictures I took. If I had a chance to travel abroad again, I want to Osaka in Japan.

The person that I want to inroduce is a singer in Korea, "younha". At an early age, she debuted in Japan. "Houkiboshi" of her 2th single album reached number 12 in the oricon chart. Thanks to this, she got the nickname "the comet of the oricon". "Houkiboshi" means "the comet".
The reasons why I admire her are a few of things. She debuted at an early age and gained huge popularity in a foreign country. In spite of tender age, I respect the thing that she realized her dream. And she was very wonderful when she appeared in "PopJam" that is music broadcasting.
Also, she is a brilliant talker. I have watched TV show program appeared with "younha". She was very kind, cheerful, cute. Most of all, she had got consideration for others. She is just not only very popular but also very mature. Whenever I think of her, I reflect on myself what I'm doing.
